Actual mirror is 85mm in diameter and of concave design which provides excellent magnification and clarity but limits field of scope. There is a single LED that provides surprisingly good illumination and should give decent battery life. Speaking of batteries, the unit utilises 3* 1.5v button type batteries which come installed as standard. As with any portable mirror the reflective surface is susceptible to scratching fortunately, it comes equipped with a plastic pouch which should help to protect. Overall, the unit is functional, well made and at around $20 represents great value for money.
